Three separate times I have ordered a pair of New Balance sneakers and all three times the shipping date was pushed back over several weeks and then canceled. I can understand this happening one time. They were in stock two of the times and this still occurred. I will be ordering from another company hear on out. Customer service was polite, but absolutely nothing was done. Oops, sorry is not enough. Sorry, J. Crew moving on.I ordered 2 robes which were not cheap. When they arrived I expected there to be some quality to them based on the price. They were incredibly thin, cheaply made, ill-fitting, way too small and not at all true to size. I tried returning them, and J-crew made me return them separately so they could charge me two return shipping fees (even though they were shipped to me in one package). Then they charged a restock fee on top? When the sizes advertised were not even close to accurate. This is irresponsible and there is apparently no regard for the planet. Why insist on needless packing materials, postage, etc? Just to make an extra few bucks off your customers instead of serving their needs. Pathetic.J. Crew used to be a mainstay in American goods, gorgeous streamlined wearables now are a bit shoddy and cheap. Again, companies outsourcing to factories where the 'fast fashion' churn out is effecting quality and thereby met with sizing issues and cheaper materials and low quality garments. Some basics are still ok, it's hit and miss. Online the customer service is pretty much non-existent. Wait for sales of certain products, coupon codes and such, if you are a fan of the J. Crew brand.What a disappointment. Worst customer service! J. Crew is so extremely disorganized. They did not get the items I ordered to me. I do spent a lot of time over email and on the phone trying to correct the problem. In the end, I gave them my money and have no clothes and no refund to show for it. And not a single person in that company cared or had the brains to make it right.J. Crew offers some of the most valuable designs and make in clothing. Customer service is always available to assist. Professional Courteous knowledgeable ground and air services have been met by order fulfillment. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who then transferred me to someone on the technical/trouble shooting team. Problem was accurately being looked into, but most importantly I was very pleased with how attentive and professional both representatives were. It isn't common to get the highest level of costumer service in this day and age!TERRIBLE company in customer service. I wish there is zero or minus rating. I hope the company stops this non-sense policy of "final sale". All other big retailers do not have this policy. The store manager was very rude and refused to return a defective merchandise that worth $24. I hope this $24 will save the company from its financial trouble. Shame on them. I have been a customer for almost 15 years.Good sales and customer service experience. However quality is rather poor. Avoid black pants or you will be cursed with lint. One of the associate asked me if i need a size and all the while i thought she was that sincere so i told her i needed size 4. She came back with size 4 and threw the size 4 top in the floor. She could have place it on top of the door but no, she threw it in the floor and that was really really RUDE! I happen to get her name cuz shes also the one who help me at the register. Cashier CYNTHIA. I also work in a retail store and that is just a big NO NO!My husband and daughter went to JCrew at Shops of Nanuet, NY. A skinny talk blonde and a short brown haired salesgirls acted very snobbish when they entered the store. They were not that helpful. People should not judge other people fir the way they dress. My husband spent a lot of money to my gifts and should have been treated with respect. Toward the end one gave him gift boxes for my cashmere sweaters. Please try to hire friendly and non discriminatory personnel. I don't know if I will be shopping there anymore. It's a shame there is beautiful clothing in that store.I have shopped with JC for years and always had a positive experience. If there is an issue or something doesn't fit the return policy is very good (unless you purchase a final sale item, then there is not returns.). They tried to claim Covid-19 as an excuse but I have had other deliveries arrive from the US in 10 days during the same time.I've ordered shoes and boots from them and they've arrived thoughtfully packaged, it's a gift to unwrap them! The clothing is well designed and beautifully made, I'm so glad to have discovered JCrew!Really great place to buy designer clothes, items arrived pretty quickly and in perfect condition! Fabric quality has also gone down. Variety of styles has also decreased.Since it is pandemic the only way to shop is online. Ordered a few items - i live in the UK so the shipping took 2 weeks. Somehow other companies manage to do way shorter times even when shipping from different continents. I kept few items and wanted to return the ones that doesnt fit. No labels or easy returns process that we are used to here in the UK with many other brands and online shopping platforms. Emailed the address given - the person responds once a day (at night as i assume they are based in the US). Supper slow and not responsive, taking days for a simple thing like sending me instructions (labels that you need to print yourself! And that costs £35! - have they heard of the modern technology? QR codes or at least shipping labels included? Who prints these days!? Such an old way of doing business, not easy and frictionless and no where on par with the rest of the industry. I definitely will not shop again at j crew, too much hassle! And lets see if i get a refund!I don't recommend it. Because I have 2 shirts that has quality control issue and sent them.
